May 6, 2019 2:10pm ‐ May 6, 2019 2:40pm

Description

In his lecture, Simon Graf demonstrates the way that he was able to develop a standardized procedure for virtual designed and direct 3D metal printed orthodontic appliances. He will go through the process step by step for a rapid palatal expanding device. If there's enough time, he will show other possibilities for direct metal printing in orthodontics and present a small glimpse into the orthodontic future from his point of view.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the basics in "re-thinking" to design virtual appliances.
  • Use 3D metal printed orthodontic appliances.
  • Start your own first steps in 3D metal printing for orthodontic appliances.
