A new technology was developed from an unprecedented collaboration among the top orthodontic and engineering research programs at the University of Southern California (USC) that brings together the latest advancements in digital treatment planning algorithms, artificial intelligence, biomaterial science, and direct digital manufacturing technology. By using a unique friction-free force delivery system in a new custom designed lingual orthodontic device, this digital technology sets a new standard in aesthetic orthodontics in treatment efficiency, precision, and ease of use in the 21st century.
