May 5, 2019 3:20pm ‐ May 5, 2019 3:50pm

Description

This presentation will focus on recognition of developing malocclusions and a problem oriented, age appropriate intervention, and benefits to treatment. Participants will learn management considerations from the unique perspective of a dual trained specialist in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics, balancing an evidence based foundation with sound clinical judgement to achieve measurable results.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize early mixed dentition issues that may benefit from intervention as a Phase 1 treatment, yet likely requiring a future Phase 2 treatment.
  • Observe late mixed dentition scenarios that may dictate n early start of care leading to a single phase of care.
